Jacob, from Kajiado county, painfully narrates how his in-laws hide his wife from him after telling them about her infidelity. He was left to raise their kids alone, and it is quite challenging, he states.

Jacob grew up just like any other child, and he studied up to form four. He was unable to go to college, and he ended up doing ordinary jobs to earn a living. He later got a job as a fisherman and that’s when he met with his wife. They both fell in love and after 5 months they decided to get married.

Life went on well, and they were later blessed with four children, although one of them was disabled. According to him, their marriage was a perfect example to many, since they lived happily and got along well. Their parents went ahead to bless them and even prayed for their union to last. Things took a negative turn after his job as a fisherman began to bring low income.

The money that he used to bring at home became minimal and eventually reduced to none after he lost his job. His wife began to despise him since he could no longer take care of the family needs like before. This went on for a while until, one day, his friends informed him of the unthinkable.

They said that every time he left home, there was usually a man who comes and spent time with the wife. He did not believe them since he trusted his wife a lot. Eventually, he asked one of them to give him a call after he saw the man coming to his house so that he would catch them red-handed.

While he ran his errands that day, he received a call, and he went straight home. He was left in utter disbelief after he found his wife with another man on their bed. After the wife saw him, she trembled in fear, and before he could even say a word, the man ran away.

His wife tried to explain, but he wanted to avoid hearing any of it. He felt betrayed and since he loved her a lot, he wanted to avoid acting immediately because he knew he would hurt her physically. He instead decided to take the matter to her parents, who surprisingly denied the matter and told him that their child could never do such a thing.

After they refused to listen to him, he took the matter to the chief. Eventually, the mother-in-law heard about the case, and she took his wife and hide her up to date. It’s been four years since she left, and he is the one taking care of their four children. He pleads with the wife wherever she might be to come back because he has forgiven her

Life has become unbearable since he doesn’t have a job to help him, feed the kids and take them to school. He is therefore asking for well-wishers to help him secure a source of income so that his kids would lead a comfortable life.
