
So when researchers from the University of Murdoch flew a drone off the coast of Western Australia they did not expect to see a white whale calf swimming next to
his darker mother.
The whale calves get their dark color at one year of age, and although it is a very rare animal, the calf proves that he is just like any other animal his age –
loves to play with his mother.
As the drone flies over, you can see the little calf (relative of course to the whale) swimming near and above his mother – as if trying to get her attention. Watch
