Scholarship Benefits

Eligibility

If you want to apply for the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship in 2024/25, here are the eligibility criteria:

  • You need to be a citizen of one of the countries listed above, or have refugee status.
  • You must be a permanent resident in a Commonwealth country that is eligible.
  • By September 2024, you should have completed an undergraduate degree with at least an upper second-class (2:1) honors standard. If you have a lower second-class degree, you should also have a relevant postgraduate qualification, usually a Master’s degree.
  • You should be available to start your academic studies in the UK in September 2024.
  • You should not have studied or worked for more than one academic year in a high-income country.
  • Finally, you should be unable to afford studying in the UK without this scholarship.

How to Apply
