Nobody can scuttle her dream of a romantic proposal at a beautiful place, probably with petals of flowers scattered all over, with soft-tuned musicals played to announce her exit from singlehood. Of course, ladies long for such special moments.

Although Henry didn’t want to go public yet with his marital proposal to his fiancée, she won’t accept his proposal unless he surprised her in a special place.

He has his reasons for delaying an open proposal: he was not yet ready to lose other ladies in his life by proposing to his fiancée. He was thus caught up in his own web.

“My fiancée had high dreams and was gradually turning me into what I was not.

“She was this kind of girl that liked public appearances. She partied very hard, and went to every party, invited or not.

“The crazy part is that most of the parties she attended she didn’t know the celebrants. Somebody that knew the celebrant would carry her along and the bevy of ladies (pepper them gang, as they called themselves) would attend the event in their own special uniformed attire.

She would post all her activities on social media and would always drag me into her public space, and I don’t like that. I am a very reserved person and hardly posted pictures on my social media pages.

“But since I started dating her, she would post two of us together every time even when we were on the bed. Then she would tag me, but I would untag myself to avoid trouble. I complained about it, but all fell on deaf ears.

“Recently, I proposed to her with a ring in my room, I wanted to surprise her, but she rejected my proposal. She said I must propose to her in a special place, and make it romantic and there must be paparazzi there. These are her conditions before she would say yes to me.

“Proposing to her in a public place is not a hard thing for me to do, but I didn’t want people to know that I had proposed to her; I prefer to do things discreetly.

“Besides, she is not the only one I was dating but I was at peace with her and my family loved her, especially my sisters. She was their friend and party gang. It was at one of my family functions which she came with my sisters that I had met her. She was a very jovial person and fun to be with. She knew how to rock her beautiful body, she is always in her best look.

“Before I met her, I had other girls I was dating and I had not broken up with them. I didn’t always put all my eggs in one basket, in case of any eventuality. Going public now with a proposal was wrong timing for me – the other girls would be heart-broken and I was not ready to leave them now.”

Dear Henry, proposing to her in a special place and special way is a romantic gesture many ladies desire. Although not all ladies are comfortable making it public, since your woman wants such public romantic show of love why not give it to her? After all, she is the one you have chosen out of other girls you said you are dating, and I think it’s also time you called the game over with the other girls because right now it’s obvious you want to eat your cake and have it. It doesn’t work out like that always.
