Man sentence to 21yrs for sleeping with his own daughter since age 6 – impregnated & aborted her pregnancy
A Lagos Special Offences Court, sitting in Ikeja, has sentenced a 52-year-old man, Akin Isaac, to 21years imprisonment for defiling and ab%rting a pregnancy for his 18-year-old daughter for 12years.
It is reported that the convict had been having s*x with his daughter beginning from the age of six. Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo sentenced the convict to 21years imprisonment, following his plea bargain application dated April 21.
Justice Taiwo said: “In view of the guilty plea of the defendant to one count of defilement, I hereby find the defendant guilty as charged.”
The judge thereafter asked the defendant, if he had anything to say, following his conviction. The convict knelt down in the dock and pleaded for mercy, explaining that he had an aged mother to look after.
