
A young lady reffered to as Sharon painfully narrates how her left turned upside down
This was after she stayed with her dead baby’s body in the streets for three days before she was arrested
According to Sharon she got married when she was eighteen years. She was the second born in a family of three children and her mother was a single mother. She didn’t go through school and this forced her to get married when she was still young.
She said that after she gave birth to her first child her husband became violent. He was a drunkard Camden he would best her daily. Two years later she gave birth to her second child.
She said that the beating continued and when she was seven months pregnant, her husband beat her brutally untill she went into labour. A neighbor helped her to deliver her child but the baby had difficulties in breathing.
According to Sharon she took her to hospital but unfortunately the baby had already died and she was asked to go home he and bury her. She went to her grandparents house but she was chased away.
Sharon opted to sleep in the streets with her dead baby, for three days. After that she took her dead child and threw her in her aunt’s toilet and went to her sister’s house to inform her what she had done.
She said that her sister reported her to the police and she was arrested. The baby was later removed and a postmortem was conducted. At this time she was already placed in the remand.
When Sharon was taken to court it was clear that she didn’t kill her baby and she was jailed for three years and she had been doing her sentence out of prison. Sharon has been on probation about she has not found a job since then. She has called unto well wishers to support her and help her find a job.
